In June this year, all the preparation work paid off. Ten storytellers from around the country met for a weekend of coaching with the fabulous Clare Muirann Murphy.
What a weekend it was, a true house party atmosphere and a group of enthusiastic, cheerful and playful tellers.
Clare’s coaching was inspired, bringing the best out of all of us and gently keeping ten lively minds steered in the desired direction.
We played games, sang songs and, of course, told and listened to stories.
When the coaching was done for the day and meals eaten, a fire was lit and we sat under the stars for more tales, songs and conversation. As the night grew darker so did the stories, the songs developed a bit of a blue tinge as well!
A huge thank you to everyone who came and shared the weekend. You made my job as organiser so much easier. It was a blast!
